Purpose                                     

The Campaign and Content Specialist is responsible for creating and executing engaging, high-quality content that supports brand and campaign initiatives. Reporting to the Brand and Campaign Manager, this role plays a crucial part in overall campaign activity, ensuring that all content aligns with the brand strategy and marketing objectives.

The specialist must excel in both copywriting and graphic design, developing content for multiple platforms including website and social media. They will independently generate and execute content ideas that drive results, contributing to the overall growth of the Pacific Blue and Tango Energy brands.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Content Creation:

  • Develop compelling copy and design visuals for digital platforms, including social media, websites and eDMs.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the company’s brand voice and messaging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create content that supports broader marketing campaigns.

Campaign Support:

  • Work closely with the Brand and Campaign Manager to execute campaign activities across both acquisition and retention campaigns.
  • Liaise with marketing agencies in the briefing and executing of campaign creative.
  • Contribute ideas for innovative campaigns that resonate with target audiences and align with achieving company targets.

 

Content Strategy and Planning:

  • Plan and manage the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of assets across ATL and digital channels.
  • Monitor content performance and suggest improvements based on data insights and audience feedback.

Design and Brand Consistency:

  • Produce graphic design work, including illustrations, infographics, banners, and social media images, ensuring they are consistent with brand guidelines.
  • Maintain a cohesive visual identity across all marketing materials.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Digital Growth and Communications teams to ensure content aligns with digital strategies, supports customer growth, and fits within broader company messaging and PR efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Legal, Product, and other internal teams to ensure content is compliant, accurate, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Liaise with external agencies and freelancers when needed to scale up content production.

Knowledge, experience (including qualification) and skills

Knowledge and experience:   

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style based on the audience.
  • Experience managing content calendars and delivering work on time.
  • Experience working within the energy industry or similarly regulated industries is preferred.
